I’m just a Catholic girl who has been blessed with a wonderful and loving husband, an amazing family, fantastic friends, and one adorable little pup! I strive daily to praise the Lord for all He has done and to be a living example of His love for us.

“Listen, my faithful children: open up your petals, like roses planted near running waters, send up the sweet odor of incense, break forth in blossoms like the lily.  Send up the sweet odor of your hymn of praise; bless the LORD for all He has done!”  ~Sirach 39:13-14

Oh, what a beautiful line – “roses planted near running waters”. I was more familiar with the phrase ‘trees near running waters” or something of that sort. 🙂 Thanks for dropping by my blog. I am pleased to meet you (and especially a fellow Catholic in the blogosphere). 🙂
